Volunteer With Us

Do you have 2-3 hours per week, or every other week you can spare?
Do you have a passion to support vulnerable young people in Hull?

If so, you may wish to volunteer with us!

We are always on the lookout for new volunteers to support the work we do.

Our volunteers compliment the work we do with young people by adding in extra support.

We mainly work with volunteers as mentors/befrienders

You would be matched up with one of our service users and meet with the once a week, or once every other week just to chat or add in extra support

Here are some of the activities our volunteers facilitate:

  • Go to the gym

  • Go for a coffee/something to eat

  • Ice skating

  • Walking

  • Accessing local youth centres to engage in activities like cooking, art or pampering

Benefits of mentoring include:

  • All costs covered

  • All training provided, with option to access further training courses if desired

  • Gain experience of working with young people

  • Meet new people and increase your networking

  • Add to your CV and find further opportunities

  • “give back” to the local community

  • Support young people in your local area
